October’s votes are locked, and the Braai League community has spoken.
Spring evenings, longer fires and a leaderboard that went right down to the wire. This month it came down to a tie on flames, and the braai that got there first takes the hamper and the bragging rights. Not bad for someone who’d never posted before.
🏆 The Winner: @nate
Entry: The First-Post Potjie
Give him a round of flames! 🔥
@nate kept it simple and did it right: a potjie settled over the coals after dark, the fire glowing underneath and no rush to lift the lid. A proper slow-cook, and a proper way to join the League.
His caption gave away the nerves: “First post I’m nervous 🥺🤣”
No need, as it turns out. The League welcomed him in style, with Mario in the comments: “Oh hell yes @nate ! Loving it man 🔥” and Elaine adding a simple “Whoohoo!! 🔥”
Congrats, Nathaniel! Our team will be sliding into your DMs to arrange your prize delivery.
