Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Braai League website (https://braaileague.co.za) and mobile/web applications (the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of Services

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services.
  • You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • We may update, modify, or remove features at any time without notice.

2. Accounts & Login

  • You may need to create an account to access certain features.
  • We offer sign-up and login through email, Google, Facebook, and Apple accounts. By using these methods, you authorize us to access basic account information provided by those services.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree not to impersonate others, misrepresent information, or misuse accounts.
  • If you wish to delete your account, you may do so directly from the Settings section within the app, or by contacting us at support@kreate.agency.
    • Please note that all user-created content (including posts, comments, and likes) will be permanently deleted, and this action cannot be undone. Account deletion will be processed in accordance with applicable laws and our Privacy Policy.

3. User Content

  • You may post or share content (e.g., comments, posts, images). You retain ownership of your content but grant Braai League a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and adapt your content for the purpose of operating the Services and for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you submit. Do not post illegal, offensive, harmful, or misleading material.
  • We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or delete content that violates these Terms or community guidelines, including but not limited to:
    • Racism or hate speech
    • Nudity or sexually explicit material
    • Vulgar or abusive language
    • Discrimination or harassment
    • Misinformation or spam

4. Community Guidelines & Account Termination

  • We are committed to maintaining a respectful and safe environment.
  • We may suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.
  • Users may also have their posts, images, or interactions removed if deemed harmful or inappropriate.

5. Gamified Features & Prizes

Gamified Features Disclaimer:
  • Braai League includes gamified features such as points, leaderboards, badges, and competitions.
  • These features are for entertainment and community engagement only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of scores, rankings, or outcomes.
  • Any participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
Braai of the Month Prize:
  • A winner will be selected each month based on the post with the most flames.
  • In the event of a tie for first place, the newer post will be declared the winner.
  • The winner will receive a Braai Box containing items up to the value of R500.
  • The contents of each Braai Box will vary monthly; no two prize boxes will be identical.
  • Winners must be residents of South Africa.
  • Winners will be contacted via the email address associated with their account within the first week of the new month to arrange shipping to their desired address.
  • If the winner is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must claim the prize on their behalf.
  • By participating, users agree to provide accurate contact details for prize delivery.

6. Intellectual Property

All logos, branding, and content related to Braai League are owned by Kreate. Agency or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or use them without permission.

7. Analytics and Advertising

By using our Services, you agree to our use of Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and AdMob. These may collect data to help us improve the Services and display ads. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Our Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free use.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use the Services, including participation in gamified features or prize competitions.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
